Fall gatherings call for festive flavors. This Pumpkin Cheese Ball with Sweet & Snappy Turkey Jerky delivers on all fronts. It’s creamy, tangy, and packed with cheddar goodness, while the jerky adds just the right amount of sweet and savory snap in every bite.
Ingredients:
- 1 bag Sweet & Snappy Turkey Jerky, finely chopped (extra for garnish)
- 2 (8oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup crushed cheese crackers (for coating)
Directions:
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add cheddar cheese, chopped turkey jerky, green onions, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne (if using). Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
Scoop the mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap. Form into a ball, then gently press to flatten slightly into a pumpkin-like shape. Use a chopstick or the edge of a spoon to make vertical indentations around the cheese ball to resemble pumpkin ridges.
Roll the cheese ball in the crushed crackers until fully coated. Place a piece of turkey jerky in the center as the “stem.” Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving so it firms up. Serve with crackers, pretzels, apple slices, or veggie sticks.
